My favourite Team development Tools

DO YOU FEEL LONELY? BUILD A TEAM.

Success in business depends on the ability to get multiple things done at the same time. That means you need to identify what has to be done and hire the right experts to accelerate the process and get results.

How do you motivate your team? Everybody who communicates with their team via email knows how much more encouraging a conversation on the phone can be. Twenty years of international project management showed us that we need social bonding and that the emotional power of people who like to communicate is a crucial success factor for great business results. In my experience working for Fortune 500 companies, teams should gather for face-to-face meetings at least once a month. These meetings are not about small talk and playing games or just sitting and writing emails while listening to boring status reports. An efficient team meeting requires intensive preparation to give all attendees enough motivation and encouragement to move forward faster. Leadership is about investing in your team so that they perform well when you are absent.

IN 20 YEARS OF PROJECT TEAM DEVELOPMENT, I LEARNED HOW IMPORTANT IT IS TO INVEST TIME IN TEAM DEVELOPMENT.

Even in a short negotiation, a small roundtable setting gives you the opportunity to establish a mutual respect for the others’ personality and to focus jointly on how to move from conflicting positions to a joint compromise. We have all discovered that negotiations are very often not about finding a solution but about one person beating the other. To avoid such friction in your team when discussing different approaches, you should invest in systematic team development. To take out the guesswork for you, I have listed here my favorite and proven tools. I love these processes.
